Falling Water is a musical duo which features the lovely singing and acoustic guitar playing of Terry Gourley combined with the awesome guitar wizardry of Tobias Hurwitz. The resulting sound is a pleasant departure from the norm, and a perfect avenue for the musical growth and expression of both artists. Gourley and Hurwitz have each released separate solo CDs, enjoyed considerable press, and performed countless concerts in the Mid-Atlantic area. Now, together, they are working toward the release of a new Falling Water CD, and performing regularly. Both guitarists are involved in the Zen Guitar movement and in teaching students of all ages to play music. Falling water concerts often include sit-ins from talented friends as well as Zen Guitar performances. Falling Water plays their own brand of original music, as well as special renditions of folk, rock, blues, and classical standards.
